More from Geoff

"Thanks to the WHOLE famn damily.

"Friday, the "work day" was a plain old work day , oh well, part of a day, with my best friends and their comic commentary and their ethic to create a neat, clean small memorial "garden" for Dad. Lillies-of-the-Valley were planted within the stone border we built.

"Sat. morn I got sad, but we had a plan to take care of, otherwise I might have just melted.

"It was so great to hug, or shake hands, or even meet! our cousins and s.o.'s when they arrived.

"At the "garden", it was hard for some of us to speak, but Jon came through with the limericks. Then someone brought up the good times at the cabin. Who started it? It turned the whole non-ceremony around for me (major sadness to major laughter). The good, fun things we learned from Jim and Jack when we were kids completely overcame my (our) sadness, for the time we were all here in WV together.

"Thanks Everybody.

"At Betsy's cousin's funeral church service some time ago, I bawled like a baby (we liked him), and same (bawling) with other church services for friends and relatives I've attended, praising the deceased. We the Greens did better. We laughed. How better a remembrance is that?

"Betsy nor I did not take a picture. I need some. A bunch of them. Maybe Jon or Cindy can make an album. Send some to us (gangreen@frontiernet.net orgeogreen@frontiernet.net). Our gathering at the "garden" was beautiful. I would most appreciate photos from there, and from the porch, and any that flatter myself.

Love. Geoff
